For 38 years, Brigitte Péry has directed the Maison Péry, a jewellery atelier founded by her great-grandfather Lucien Péry in 1875.
During the Second World War, her grandfather Albert helped Van Cleef & Arpels hide some of their gold. As a thank you, the jewellers and manufacturers joined forces and for decades, the Péry atelier has designed and manufactured many of Van Cleef & Arpels’ best-sellers, including the famous Zip necklace.
Other exceptional jewellery houses have placed their trust in Maison Péry’s skills and expertise: Bulgari, Fabergé, Mikimoto, Graff and Harry Winston have all asked Péry to manufacture jewellery for their collections.
In 2012, Brigitte Péry sold her company to Van Cleef & Arpels. She now teaches at the Van Cleef & Arpels school, ensuring French skills and expertise in fine jewellery are passed on to future generations.
