Bruno Moretti graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Dijon in 1985, and two years later founded the 18 Août group alongside Fabrice Berrux and Pascal Oriol. He develops product and interior design projects.
Many of his works focus on tableware and they appear at major exhibitions – some are even part of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris’ own collection.
In 2012 he met Guy Savoy, sparking a new era of experimentation in his tableware design. Alongside his friend and colleague he has been able to develop several projects which reimagine the relationship between kitchenware and cooking techniques. Bruno Moretti and Guy Savoy have designed a set of tableware products for the chef’s new Parisian restaurant at the Hôtel de la Monnaie de Paris.
