EnsAD and the Crous begin recruiting a designer.
Chair Studio 21.
Transformation in Student Life in the 21st Century.
Aware that student housing and lifestyles were major subjects of 20th-century architecture and design, and continue to be so in the 21st century, Crous and EnsAD have decided to join forces to create a three-year teaching and research chair focusing on the transformations of student life through its living and working spaces: housing, shared and private spaces, and dining venues.
The two founding members, EnsAD and the Crous, are soliciting applications to recruit the chair holder in view of piloting the operational launch in October 2019. They are seeking a designer with recognized experience and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and interact with institutional and economic actors. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of concrete actions to improve Crous student life spaces. The proposed program should be organized around several themes: changes in student housing, modularity of food service spaces, interchangeability of collective and private spaces, anticipation of uses.
