Chantal Thomass, a fashion designer, is the founder of her eponymous lingerie brand.
After beginning at Dorothée Bis, she launched Ter et Bantine with her husband in 1967.
She designed clothing under her own name in 1975; a year later, she opened her “Chantal Thomass” boutique in Paris and her first lingerie collection was born. In 1979, she made a sensation with her design for the first lace tights made by Wolford, establishing her brand identity.
After being forced to give up the use of her name, she bought her brand back with the help of a partner. The lingerie collection was revived in 1999. Two years later, a retrospective of her work was exhibited at the Musée de la Mode de Marseille.
Madame Chantal Thomass hasn’t stopped affirming the identity of her universe with finesse and seduction, all in pink and black.
