Having graduated in 1987 from the Ecole d’Architecture de Charenton, Christian Ghion is now a product designer, set designer and interior designer.
In 1989, he founded his design studio alongside Patrick Nadeau and won the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris one year later. In 1998, he decided to set off on his own adventure.
As well as knives for La Forge de Laguiole, jewellery for Christofle, accessories for Alessi and kitchen furnishings for Arthur Bonnet, he has also designed shops for Chantal Thomass and Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and restaurants for Chef Pierre Gagnaire.
Christian Ghion has created designs for renowned retailers such as Cappellini, Driade, Daum, Salviati, Sawaya & Moroni, XO and Le Mobilier National.
His work can be viewed at the New York Guggenheim, Paris’ Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Centre Georges Pompidou.
