After graduating from Nantes Atlantique design school in 2002, Ionna Vautrin worked in turn for Camper in Spain, George J. Sowden in Italy and Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in France
In January 2011 she opened her studio after winning the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris.
She has since collaborated with various brands and design retailers such as Foscarini, Moustache, Kvadrat, Sancal, SNCF, Lexon, Serralunga and JCDecaux.
Her work combines a poetic sensibility with industry.
When she designs day-to-day objects, her ambition is that they be simple and clear, yet surprising.
Her projects combine shapes that are simultaneously geometrical and organic alongside a sense of cheeky, colourful verve; intuitive, functional uses; and a warm, familiar presence.
