A graduate of ENSCI-Les Ateliers after studying at the Beaux-Arts in Nîmes, Pierre Charrié is interested in the sensory dimension of everyday objects. Sound, movement or touch are used to question uses and create new interactions.
In 2013, he won the Agora Award and in 2015, the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris. He also received a grant from the VIA for his Aérobie lamp.
Trained in the art of plumasserie at Octave Feuilllet, the last school in France teaching ornamental feather work, Julien Vermeulen graduated with a BTS in Fashion Design from Duperré and a BA in Plastic Arts and Art Science from la Sorbonne.
He has worked with some of the biggest names in fashion and haute couture (including Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Dior and Boucheron).
