Domeau & Pérès was created in 1997 by saddler Bruno Domeau and former apprentice upholsterer, Philippe Pérès. The business’s main activity was originally manufacturing chairs, be it for the home, shops, cars and even planes.
The brand’s craftsmanship plays a key role in the creation of the pieces, as does the choice of materials and the quality of the finishing touches.
Furniture makers, they decided to turn their hand to production. They have worked with the likes of Christophe Pillet, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Matali Crasset, Andrée Putman, Martin Szekely, Eric Jourdan, Pablo Reinoso, FX Balléry and Angie Anakis in both the development of technical solutions and the creation of high-end products.
To top it all off, Domeau & Pérès decided to promote and share contemporary artistic design by opening an art gallery.
