2014 : THE FIRST EDITION WAS A SUCCESS
In 2014, for the first time, an ‘Interior Planning’ category was launched as part of the National Wood Construction Prize.
With more than 150 projects presented, this first edition was a great success.
This prize aims to reward building construction, refurbishment or decoration projects (public and private), in France, completed after 1st January 2012. To compete in the ‘Interior Planning’ category, projects must be made up of at least 50% wood and wood-by-product components in their interior planning.
By awarding this prize to exemplary projects, wood industry stakeholders want to encourage the use of wood and its by-products in all fields of the planning of interior living spaces (wall/floor/ceiling, closing/opening, interior fitting, furniture, seating, lighting and accessories), both public and private.
The 4 recipient projects from 2014 :
- Les Haras Brasserie (Strasbourg), Agence Jouin Manku ;
- Le Refuge (Les Ménuires), Agence H2O Architectes ;
- “IN/OUT” Office Campus (Boulogne-Billancourt), Agence Jouin Manku ;
- Musée Paul-Belmondo (Boulogne-Billancourt), Agence Chartier et Corbasson.
