Julie Richoz is a Swiss-French designer.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design at the École Cantonale d’Art in Lausanne in 2012, she joined Pierre Charpin’s studio in Paris.
In 2013, she opened her namesake design studio and developed her own language, juggling curiosity and sensitivity. In 2012, Julie Richoz was awarded the Grand Prix du Jury at the Design Parade festival, organised by the Villa Noailles in Hyères.
Artist-in-residence in Sèvres, Cité de la Céramique and CIRVA, she has yet to stop exploring porcelain, glass and their respective natures.
She collaborates with galleries (Kreo, Libby Sellers) and brands (Alessi, Louis Poulsen, Louis Vuitton).
In 2015, Julie Richoz won the Federal Design Award, the most important national competition, awarded by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture for her projects “Armand” and “Vases Oreilles”.
