Le Point D was created in September 2016 by Xavier Daublain and Damien Sanoner. This new design retailer has set itself the goal of democratising design. To do this, Le Point D supplies top-quality, exclusive designer creations made within an environmentally-friendly short supply chain. Its items are always sold for a fair price, because the middleman has been cut out of the picture. It guarantees that every item is customisable (and therefore potentially unique) by making each one to order, mainly in France.

RE-UP’s name stands for “RE-use” and “UP-cycling”. Here, materials are reused to create intensely functional items. Three sections made of mirrors and lacquered glass slide along the shelving unit so that users can landscape their personal space, tidying or hiding their objects, books or decorations, or giving them pride of place. This shelving unit uses lacquered MDF, mirrors and lacquered glass, and production was entrusted to a centre based in Romans that gives unemployed people the opportunity to get back into work.
