After studying philosophy, geography and art history, Max Moulin joined the RMN followed by Le Corbusier Foundation.
He then joined the Association Française d’Action Artistique where he promoted French visual artists in Western Europe and North America. He supported, among others, Soulages, Buren, Boltanski, Messager, Leccia, Hyber, Huyghe, Parreno, Gonzalez-Foerster, Delprat, some of them up to the Venice Biennale.
Head of Exhibition, Design and Museography, his work then extended to French designers and graphic designers during travelling exhibitions conceived of with the VIA, APCI, Place du Design and Biennale de Saint-Etienne.
Since 2011, he has been Head of Design and Exhibitions at the Department of Exchanges and Artistic Cooperation of the Institut français in Paris and supports the Emoi of Design in Madrid in 2012 or the French Oui design event in New York.
