Fiber reinforced concrete
100 x 50 x h40 cm
Created in High-performance fibre reinforced concrete (HPFRC), this table is made up of two symmetrical elements. Each of these units is cast in one piece. The drawing reproduces leaf veins or ribs forming the plane’s wings, in very stylistic lines. The moulding techniques and the type of concrete used enable this honeycomb structure that gives the table its strength, despite the thinness of the concrete.
Thus, the contrast between the ethereal drawing and the raw material is born, this contrast being accentuated by the interplay of lights and shadows created in the alveoli.
