For its first step in Asia, the exhibition NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE will settle down at the 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT Gallery 3 in spring 2019 . Dedicated to design, this venue is located in the heart of Roppongi, the district of cultural revolution in Tokyo.
Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo, from 4 th October to 12th December 2018
To end 2018 in triumphant fashion, the NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE exhibition is heading to Buenos Aires to celebrate the Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo’s centenary year. This museum – considered by many to be Argentina’s Versailles – is an icon of French architectural style and a perfect setting for French Design.
International Contemporary Furniture Fair, from 20th to 23rd May 2018
The exhibition was invited to come celebrate ICFF’s 30th edition. This showcase for American contemporary furniture and design is considered an essential event for US-based professionals who want to keep up to date with the latest international trends.
Architecture+Design Museum, from 24th February to 29th April 2018
NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE extended its cultural reach in the USA during a stopover in Los Angeles. This city is setting out its stall as international design’s newest stage, and it stands out for its original taste in space design. The exhibition took place in the magnificent A+D Museum, a location created to celebrate the role architecture and design play in our daily lives, and to give us a better understanding of how they do this.
Paradise Plaza – Miami Design District, from 4th December 2017 to 4th February 2018
NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE was honoured to visit Miami’s Paradise Plaza / Miami Design District as part of one of our industry’s biggest and most dynamic shows, Design Miami. Twice a year, the world’s most influential collectors, gallerists, designers, curators and critics gather to celebrate everything design has to offer.
World Design Summit, from16th to 25th October 2017
NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE touched down in North America for the first time for the inaugural World Design Summit. The aim of the event was to cast a questioning eye over the role design plays in social development. For French Design, it was an opportunity to share thoughts on France’s design output formulated by an outstanding selection committee made up of 40 French and international figures.
Palazzo Rossini, Venice, from 22th June to 20th August 2017
For the highly renowned Venice Biennale, NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE took up residence in the heart of Venice, in the Palazzo Rossini to be precise. For this second stopover in its grand tour, the exhibition was invited by the European Cultural Centre to take part in the Biennale di Venezia’s biggest design showcase, VENICE DESIGN.
The Institut Français Milano, from 5th April to 13rd May 2017
Milan was the first destination on the exhibition’s tour.
As part of the Salone del Mobile Milano, NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE was unveiled to an international audience for the very first time at the Institut Français. This event is the top date in the international design calendar, and it was here that the exhibition was launched to instant success. The Salone drew in more than 1200 design professionals.

Paris was the setting for NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE’s inaugural exhibition - and what other location could there be for a 100% French Design event influenced by Starck and Bouroullec ?
23rd February 2017 saw the launch party for the NO TASTE FOR BAD TASTE world tour. For the occasion, the exhibition’s designer, artist and fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac decorated the VIA Gallery’s walls with his iconic designs.
