Toulemonde Bochart is a family-run business founded in 1949 in the heart of the northern French textile region. Pioneer in forging partnerships with stylists and designers, the brand worked with Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Pascal Mourgue and Andrée Putman in the 1980s and later with Hilton McConnico, Didier Gomez and Les Sismo. Today it develops collections alongside Emmanuel Gallina, Florence Bourel and Ricardo Bofill’s Taller de Arquitectura.
Through its rugs, Toulemonde Bochart reveals the wealth and creativity of its collections, product of its craftsmanship. Whether through the hours spent by the designers perfecting their creations in order to express their vision of the present, or through the days spent by weavers endlessly renewing their ancestral gestures in the respect of the tradition, the quest for precision behind the quality of these rugs is clear.
